Music MinistryList Item 1
Join together in song and fellowship under the direction of our choir director, Robin McLaughlin. Rehearsals on Monday evenings, 7pm in the Choir Loft from September through May. Sing at 8am Saturday Mass as your schedule permits.
We'd also encourage you to join the choir at our partner parish, St. Mary Trenton. Their Mass times are 4pm Saturday and 10:30am Sunday.
All are welcome! Come on up and join us for rehearsal!
If you'd rather not sing with our choirs, we'd love you hear your voice from the pews!

Lector
Reader who proclaims the Scriptures at Mass and other services. Lector's should be in High School or older.

Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion
Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound. EMHC's should be 16 year of age of older.

Sacristan
Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.

Altar Server
Boys and girls from grade 4 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy. Adults welcome too!

Eucharistic Adoration
Tuesdays from 3:00pm-9:00pm. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by volunteers who sign up for one hour or more to pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance.

Finance Council
Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Parish Pastoral Council
The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of St. George Parish.

Buildings & Grounds
Volunteers who, in their personal experstise, counsel the financial council and pastor on the needs and of the parish facilites.

Baptism Preparation
Preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith.

Offertory Counters
A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Adults 25 years of age or older.

Ministers of Hospitality
Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass. They will also assist in seating within the parish and collection of the offering.

OCIA
Order of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates and catechumens for Catholic sacraments. Sessions run September through May each year.
